During Chandra Grahana all will get an Asoucham/Theetu/Impurity/Sutak - 9 hours before the prahar/yamam in which the grahan occurs. You need not worry about this calculation, as the time is already calculated. The Grahana/eclipse impurity with start from 06:48 morning of the 31st Jan 2018. This time is important to keep in mind as you cannot consume any food on 06:48 am till end of eclipse.
